Therapy case management, curriculum development and implementation for children with Autism, Asperger’s Disorder, and other developmental disorders
North Shore Pediatric Therapy offers assessment and curriculum development and implementation for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. We utilize a team based approach and offer case management services delivered by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
The first step is to meet with your new case manager to hear about NSPT’s program options and to communicate your child’s needs. Next an evaluation will be completed, The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS), to determine appropriate objectives for your child’s individualized program. After the program objectives have been completed, you and your case manager will sit down and determine who, when, and where the program will be implemented. Some options include:
Who:
- Behavior Analysts, Behavior Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and/or Occupational Therapists
When:
- Mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends
- The number of hours will be determined by you and your case manager
Where:
- Home, school, clinic, and/or community
You can be assured that your case manager will be in constant communication with you regarding your child’s program and progress.
